    Walking with Giants

    Public procession - featuring Giant puppets from Milton Keynes and around the UK and samba bands - through the city centre. It was a lovely sunny Sunday, and a great time was had by all

    Big Dance Festival

    One of the highlights of the first weekend of the fringe was Milton Keyne's first ever Dance Festival

    Safe Harbour – Beach Huts

    Six Beach huts - each one beautifully transformed by a commissioned artist - were placed in locations around the city centre. Timed to co-incide with the visit of 'The Boat Project', which visited as part of Milton Keynes International Festival

    Dip Your Toe – Bathing Machines

    A series of unique theatre pieces performed in and around bespoke Victorian style bathing machines - presented in association with Brighton Festival Fringe and Nightingale Theatre

    The HERB House and the GREEN House

    MK Fringe has a strong commitment to being a green festival - highlighted by two projects last year. Manuela Bennini's Herb House - an installation and performance space awakening memories of traditional uses of herbs. The Green House, led by Paul Smith, was constructed - with the help of public and school groups - from over 10,000 recycled plastic bottles
